In an effort to attain peace, both the demonic and angelic factions ventured into the uncharted territory of arranged intermarriage. Jiacheng, the demon, and Yu Shanshan, the angel, were chosen to participate in this experimental partnership. The terms of the agreement required them to cohabit successfully for a year or face dissolution of their marriage. Although they were hesitant at first, Jiacheng and Yu Shanshan bravely took on the challenge with a positive outlook.
