Made in Abyss

In the town of Orth, an extraordinary sight greets the eyes of those who visit – the Abyss, a gaping hole of incomparable depth that has yet to be fully explored. It is said that anyone who dares to venture too far below its surface never emerges from its dark depths. However, a select few who possess the courage to engage in such a perilous journey are deemed “Cave Raiders” and celebrated as heroes. Among the residents of this town resides a young girl named Riko – the offspring of one of the greatest Cave Raiders who disappeared during an expedition many years ago.
Riko’s comparatively mundane existence is forever altered when she crosses paths with a peculiar robot, Reg, who appears to materialize from the very core of the Abyss. Riko believes that this could only be a message from her mother, who she believes remains trapped in the Abyss’s unexplored regions. Determined to uncover the truth, Riko embarks on a treacherous descent into the Abyss in the company of Reg, ready to face any dangers that arise on her quest for truth.
